How does the rating system work? |
|
The rating system is designed to be fair to all handsets and provide a insight into the overall quality. It's split into three sections:
- Performance: How well the phone works; reliability, signal strength, battery life all should be considered.
- Features: Does the phone have many extra features? Are they useful? Do they make the phone stand out?
- Design: Is the phone pleasing to the eye? Quality and durability are also issues to consider.
The overall score is calculated from the average of the three seperate scores. |

How do I write a review? |
|
Once you click a handset, you'll be taken to the details screen. To write a review, just click 'Review This Mobile' (under the picture of the phone).
Some guidelines for writing a review:
- Keep it concise and don't go off topic
- Try and be descriptive; remember, your review may help others decide make a purchase. If you're going to make strong praise or criticism, make sure there are reasons to back it up.
- Keep language clean, and don't link to other websites. Reviews that fall foul of this will be deleted! |

What are the User Guides, and how do I write one? |
|
User Guides differ from reviews in that they demonstrate how existing users can get more from their phone. Good topics for user guides include:
- How to dismantle the phone
- How to connect it with a data cable to a PC
- How to remove operator restrictions
Topics related to IMEI changing are stricly banned.
